Hello and welcome to our website. I just want to give you a little background on why and how this got started. Since I was a small child I have felt that my life has a very important purpose. I never knew what it was or what to do about it. Now as I am growing in church and in Christ, this feeling has gotten much stronger. I realize that I have been given a job to fight this evil and to bring as many hearts to God as I can. In March of 2009 I had a very strong feeling that I needed to reach out to people, lost and saved alike, and teach them about Christ. For far too long, Christians have stood by and allowed our freedoms and our beliefs to come under fire. I believe that my purpose is to not only spread the Gospel but to teach Christian people how to defend their faith! I realize that in this day and age, simply telling some people "because the Bible says so" isn't always going to change their mind. God has left us many clues and lots of proof that he is real and His creation was made by Him alone. If you are saved, please read this site on how to defend yourself aganist this evil enemy. If you do not yet know Jesus as your Savior, please read this site with an open mind and truly analyze the facts. You will find the undeniable truth of what God has created and done.
I founded this website in March of 2007 and I have been through a lot since then. Now, in June of 2010 I am ready to fight the enemy full force and dedicate my life to serving the Lord. I have three verses that have a special meaning to me. The first one tells that you must be ready to give a reason and defend your position in your faith at all times. You never know when you may come under attack. This verse is 1 Peter 3:15 - "but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you....."
The next verse is one that I must remember whenever I am feeling overwhelmed or beat. Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
And finally, this passage states the whole basis of my my work. Ephesians 6:11-18 says:
"Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in that evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about you with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18) praying always with all prayer and suppllication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplications for all saints."
These verses are a guidebook on how to be a warrior for Christ. In verse 12 it explains to us what we are up against, but then it shows you what an arsenal you have with God. There is no reason to be afraid because the shield will "quench ALL the fiery darts of the wicked."
Friends, please be ready - when you choose to fight for the Lord, you will be under attack every step you take. Not only spiritually, but in this day and age you could possibly be killed for you belief in the Lord. When you are feeling frightened or overwhelmed, all you must do is look to the Lord for He will provide you with His whole armor. Prepare yourself for the hardest yet most rewarding path of life - and take that first step!
Hi and welcome! I am very glad you've come to this website - this says that, like me, you are always in search of information, in search of answers and truth. We can help you with that. Please make yourself at home and if you need anything or want to see something on here, just let us know!
I've been reading and learning since age 3, and I have a hunger to study things whether they are new topics to me or not. I love to help people grow and I love to share things I've learned to be true. I've been raised in a home where my parents went to church all my life, but came to know the Lord as my Savior when I was 15. Since then, I've had some high points and some low points - we all have. That's part of being a sinful human; if you are not seeking God, how can you do what pleases Him? The comforting thing is that no matter what, God is there and has been there and knows what I am going through, and He is able and willing to see me through. He is more faithful to me than I could ever repay on my own!
My purpose in joining Travis on this journey is pretty clear. As Travis' new wife, we have discovered that we both feel a strong burden to show as many people as possible how they can know the joy and peace that we both have, no matter the circumstance. We need to know that we have shown people God's truth and the way to know God. As well, as someone that loves to help and support people, that is my role - if you need information, or help, or prayer, or just an ear, that's what I am here for. Please don't hesitate to ask at any time if something has you confused or upset!
I have three verses that have been very important in my life, and these verses have all helped me through situations in my life that have been both joyful and painful. The first is John 15:5 - "I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing."
The second verse is Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." And no, I didn't lift that from Travis's section! That verse has brought me through my lowest lows and has encouraged me to keep on with knowledge that God will strengthen me and help me do whatever is before me.
Lastly, Psalm 119:11 is important - "I have hidden Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against You." This one is a good reminder to read and remember the Word of God, because there just might come a time when you will need His guidance and wisdom...what better way to hear God than to read His word?
I pray our page will bless you in many ways! We are always here if you need, so please don't let anything confuse or upset you - if you need information let us know.
